Michael Keane, Andre Gray best of bad bunch as Burnley lose to Stoke

It was deja vu once again for Burnley as a positive start ended in a limp away defeat, with Stoke winning 2-0 thanks to a pair of fine first-half goals.

It is now one goal and one point from six matches on the road for the Clarets, who look completely out of ideas away from Turf Moor.

Positives

The second half was an improvement on the atrocious opening period, but by then the game was lost and the Clarets created very little. Ashley Barnes and Jeff Hendrick escaped potential red cards, but this was another away game in which looking for positives is clutching at straws -- it was mostly woeful.
