A section of Burnley FC's stadium had to evacuated after a strip of metal was spotted hanging from roofing during the team's Premier League clash with Wolves.
It meant fans in the Jimmy McIlroy stand meant fans had to be moved.
Some seating was cordoned off by stewards during the first half of the match, which finished in a 1-1 draw after play continued as scheduled.
The club thanked supporters for their co-operation and patience.
