The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team will be hosting a recycled clothing drive before its game against the San Jose Sharks on Saturday, Nov. 14.
The drive is sponsored by the Buffalo Sabres Green Team and will be a part of “Stuff the Truck Day,” which is a collaboration of Erie County, the City of Buffalo, Elmwood Village Association, Goodwill Industries of WNY, the Salvation Army of Buffalo, Buffalo City Mission, AMVETS and Hearts for the Homeless. They have formed the Western New York Coalition for Donated Goods (WNYCDG). Fans who donate will receive a coupon for 25 fan advantage points, which can be used to redeem prizes from the store in the Sabres Fan Advantage smartphone application.
