The Buffalo Sabres announced the team has recalled forwards Daniel Catenacci and Cal O’Reilly from the Rochester Americans (AHL).
Catenacci (5’9”, 191 lbs., 3/9/1993) will be joining the Sabres for his second career recall after playing in three games with the team earlier this season. The Richmond Hill, Ontario native has 20 points (9+11) in 41 games for the Amerks in 2015-16, including 10 points (3+7) in his last 10 games. In 187 career games for the Amerks, he has 72 points (35+37) and 127 penalty minutes.
O’Reilly (6’0”, 191 lbs., 9/30/1986) has appeared in five games for the Sabres this season, recording one assist and two penalty minutes.
