With the NHL draft lottery this past Saturday, we now know which NHL teams will pick in the first half of the 2016 NHL Draft – and in which order they’ll be selecting.
The Toronto Maple Leafs had a league-best 20 percent chance at winning the draft lottery, and indeed, the odds were in their favor, much to the chagrin of Sabres fans. The Leafs will pick first-overall in June.
The Winnipeg Jets will pick second, with the Columbus Blue Jackets selecting third overall.
From there, it goes: Edmonton – Vancouver – Calgary – Arizona – Buffalo (8) – Montreal – Colorado – New Jersey – Ottawa – Carolina – Boston.
