Tuesday night the Buffalo Sabres lost to the division leading Florida Panthers 7 to 4. The Panthers got out of the gates early and often, scoring four goals in 20 minutes to put the Sabres in an large hole for the rest of the game
You could easily see that in the first period that the were out-skated and out-played in almost every sense of the way, but there is two ways that you can see that. One way is the way the fellow writer Richard Spalding saw it: that it was an embarrassing loss and that bold changes need to be made.
