Buffalo Sabres Player Grades: Ryan O’Reilly

Buffalo Sabres forward Ryan O’Reilly was absolutely one of the team’s best offensive threats this season.

He put up 60 points in just 71 games, averaging 0.85 points per game.

With this, he became the 13th Buffalo Sabres player to record at least 60 points in his first season with the team, and the first to do so since Pat LaFontaine did it back in 1991-1992.

O’Reilly’s season included a respectable 21 goals and 39 assists; 22 of his 60 points came on the power-play, including eight goals, and he added two game-winning tallies.
