BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team heads to Oxford, OH this weekend for the 2016 Mid-American Conference Championships. The Bulls enter the tournament at the fifth seed and they face #4 Akron in the Quarterfinals on Friday morning at 10:00 am.
UB lost a narrow 4-3 decision at Akron just 12 days ago. The winner of Friday's quarterfinal will meet top ranked Ball State on Saturday morning in the Semifinals. The Bulls handed Ball State its only MAC loss of the year.
Buffalo enters the conference tournament with four players with at least 20 singles victories this season.
