Von Jackowski Places Second at the Swiss National Championships

Selina Von Jackowski of the University at Buffalo women's track and field team competed at the Swiss National Championships this past weekend with excellent results. In the 100 high hurdles, three rounds were contested. A native of Pfeffingen, Switzerland, Von Jackowski advanced to the finals running 14.08 in the prelims, 13.67 in the semifinals and 13.73 in the finals of the Women's 100 high hurdles, placing second overall. She also competed in the long jump and had a best of 6.14m (20'1.75").

Both Von Jackowski (Switzerland) and Martine Bye (Norway) have been selected to represent their respective countries at the 2017 World University Games in Taipeh, Taiwan in August.
