BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis duo of junior Petr Vodak and freshman Villhelm Fridell have been named the Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the Week, the conference office announced on Wednesday afternoon.
Vodak and Fridell won at second doubles against Northern Illinois, 6-4, as they helped lead the Bulls to a pair of wins this past weekend in Mid-American Conference play. Vodak and Fridell led 5-3 in the doubles contest against Binghamton when doubles play was halted after the Bulls had already clinched the doubles point. Fridell and Vodak are 3-1 in doubles as a team this year.
