UB Student-Athletes Participate in Important Initiatives

BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo student-athletes participated in a pair of important campus-wide initiatives this week. On Monday, UB student-athletes participated in Sexual Violence Prevention Day. On Tuesday, they participated in DIFCON.

For Sexual Violence Prevention Day, members of the SAAC e-board set up a table at the Student Union welcoming all UB students to stop by and take photos with a word written on their body to express their position on sexual violence prevention and post it to social media.

At DIFCON (short for Difficult Conversations), Treyvon Mask of the track & field team, Trey Bowman of the football team and former track & field athlete Asher Beasley represented UB Athletics in a conversation about expressing their political beliefs both on and off the field.
