Jake Silas resigned by the Ottawa REDBLACKS

Jake Silas, who played offensive line for Jeff Quinn while he coached the Bulls, has been resigned by the Ottawa REDBLACKS of the Canadian Football League. Silas graduated after the 2014 season and spent some time in NFL camps.

Silas signed with Ottawa last year and spent the season on their practice squad. The REDBLACKS, a second year CFL expansion team, won the eastern division before falling in a close Grey Cup match to Edmonton.
