BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo men's basketball standout Blake Hamilton has signed his first professional contract, as he will play for BK Ventpils in Latvia this upcoming season. The club competes in the Latvian Basketball League, the Baltic Basketball League, and the Champions League.
Hamilton was named second-team All-MAC as he led the Bulls in scoring this past season at 17.5 points per game and had a team-high 141 assists. Hamilton was twice named the MAC East Player of the Week and three times he surpassed the 30-point mark, the most by a UB player since Javon McCrea in 2013-14.
