Baseball Snaps Losing Streak At Sam Houston State On Thursday Night, 5-3

HUNTSVILLE, TX – The University at Buffalo baseball team (5-13, 0-0 MAC) snapped their 10-game losing streak on Thursday night on the road at Sam Houston State as they downed the Bearkats 5-3. Senior right-handed pitcher Alec Tuohy collected his fourth win of the season as he struck out a season-high nine batters in the victory.

After the Bulls went 1-2-3 in the first inning, the Bearkats struck for the first run of the game in the bottom of the first as Clayton Harp doubled to right center and Andrew Fregia brought him around to score on a single to left field to give the home team the 1-0 lead.
