1 – Intensity level
To a man every player on both rosters knows that the level of intensity is going to increase when there’s a different colored helmet and jersey on the other side of the line of scrimmage. Players on the whole like it because it breaks up the monotony of training camp practices and offers something different. The coaches benefit because it provides them with a more effective means to evaluate players. And the fans win because the pride factor between teams raises the level of everyone’s play.
2 – Matchups
The one-on-one matchups are always fun to watch from the sidelines especially when one player gets the better of the other.
