New York Jets defensive end Henry Anderson has been fined $10,527 by the league for his unnecessary and dirty hits on Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen in Week 1. Anderson earned one personal foul penalty and lots of scorn on social media for the hits.
You can see both hits in the video compiled by Cold Front Report. The first hit is from 2018 when Anderson laid out Bills’ kicker Stephen Hauschka, injuring him. The second two are from Week 1, where Anderson first put his helmet into Allen after the ball was away and then when he dove at the back of Allen’s knee well after the ball was thrown.
