The Buffalo Bills were involved in perhaps the most patriotic moment in NFL history in 1991 when they played in Super Bowl XXV. The United States had just declared war in the Persian Gulf, and patriotism was incredibly high in support of the troops. As fans attending the game featuring the Bills and New York Giants - two teams sporting red, white, and blue - entered the stadium, they were all given small American flags to wave. Some brought their own full-size banners, as well.
