New York Liberty finished preseason with a 1-3 record Sunday afternoon, losing 98-79 to the Connecticut Sun at the Times Union Center in Albany. The Liberty has lost three straight to WNBA teams after beating the Chinese Women’s National Team on May 9 at Barclays Center.
Liberty Guard Kia Nurse, a member of the Canadian national team, led all scoring with 25 points. Nurse ends this preseason second in overall scoring, averaging 17.3 points per game. First round draft pick Asia Durr added 16 points off the bench. All-Star Tina Charles added nine points for the Liberty.
