After the shocking death of Kobe Bryant, the whole NBA — make that the entire sports world — was putting its arms around the families of not only Bryant, but the other victims of the tragic helicopter crash.
Sympathies and well-wishes have been flooding in to Bryant’s surviving family. Those closest to him will eventually have to move past the initial stages of grief — the denial, anger and bargaining — and deal with the depression before finding acceptance.
The Nets may need to help their star Kyrie Irving do so as well.
Bonds aren’t limited to just blood, and the one Irving shared with Bryant was deep and well-documented.
