Chris McCullough's debut overshadowed by Joe Johnson heroics, but the promise was evident

Chris McCullough finally debuted Monday night vs. the Nuggets and although he played limited minutes, the 21-year-old looked good for someone who had missed 50 straight games and hadn't played any organized basketball for 393 days, since blowing out his knee at Syracuse.

The 6'11" forward, who twice spelled Thaddeus Young a the 4, scored two points on a 20-foot jumper from the left wing, grabbed two rebounds, blocked a shot and stole the ball in 11 minutes, evenly divided between halves. He also committed three personals, not surprising for an NBA debut.
