Bizarro Nets stage 4th-quarter rally to steal a win

The Nets already has suffered enough fourth-quarter collapses to last a season, or two. But Sunday Brooklyn turned the tables on Detroit, coming from behind with a fourth-quarter run and holding on for an 87-83 victory.

It was the Nets’ third straight home win, the perfect way to come back from a holiday road trip. Brooklyn improved to 4-13, and perhaps just as importantly showed improvement in two of its biggest weaknesses — closing out shooters at the 3-point line and closing out games.
