BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University Director of Athletics and Recreation Derek van der Merwe has announced a three-year contract extension for head volleyball coach Danijela Tomic. Tomic's contract now runs through Dec. 14, 2027.
"Coach Tomic represents everything that is great about Bowling Green State University," said van der Merwe. "She embraces campus and its faculty, staff, and students. She embraces the community of alumni, donors, and fans. She is committed to the total development of her student-athletes. We are going to raise many more banners in the Stroh Center under her leadership and will all be there to celebrate with her.
