Three members of the Bowling Green State University women's soccer team have been named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region Team. Juniors Maureen Kennedy and Chelsee Washington were named to the Scholar All-North/Central Region First Team, while classmate Kathleen Duwve was selected to the second team.
BGSU was one of just three schools in the North/Central Region with two first-team selections, joining Northwestern and UMKC. BGSU, Minnesota and UMKC were the only three institutions with three players named to either the first or second team.
All three players were named to the All-Mid-American Conference First Team and also were chosen to the USC All-Region Team.
