BOWLING GREEN — A foundation for success on the hardwood has been established in a new era of hoops in the Stroh Center.
With Todd Simon and Fred Chmiel securing winning records in their first seasons as the head coach of Bowling Green State University’s men’s and women’s basketball teams, respectively, the duo is hoping the framework during a busy first year leading their programs leads to more success in the near future.
“You’re going into this thing and not a lot of returners, you’re kind of building it from scratch. You’ve got a lot of stuff behind the scenes to get going and build it the way that we think needs to be,” Simon said.
