Bowling Green State University softball standout Aspen Searle has been invited to the Canadian Women's National Team Selection Camp. Searle is one of 36 players invited to the camp, which runs from Thursday (June 22) through Tuesday (June 27) in Mississauga, Ontario.

From that pool of athletes, the coaching staff will select two teams – the Women's National Team and the Women's Elite team.
Searle, a native of Brantford, Ontario (Bishop Tonnos), will be a fifth-year senior in the 2018 season. She started all 56 of BGSU's games at shortstop in 2017, and was named the team's Offensive Player of the Year after batting .
