The Falcons scored the first run of the game, but Florida State closed the game with six unanswered runs.
"We came out and competed hard early, and got that 1-0 lead," said head coach Danny Schmitz. "But we just had way too many mistakes. You can't give a team like that extra outs, and we gave them quite a few.
