Bowling Green, Ohio – Legendary television anchorman Jerry Anderson, who retired in June after nearly 40 years as a local television newsman, has been named the public address announcer for Bowling Green men's and women's basketball for the 2018-19 season. Anderson will play a lead role in developing the atmosphere in the Stroh Center for BGSU's home basketball games.

"I'm very excited to be part of the BGSU basketball scene," Anderson said. "I've been a Falcon fan since childhood. I believe both hoop programs are heading in exciting directions and I hope to do my small part to enhance the excitement over the public address system at The Stroh.
