u25a0 What happened: A nearly six-minute BGSU scoring drought, coupled with lights-out shooting from beyond the arc from Kent State, helped the Golden Flashes take a six-point lead at the break.

Kent State built a 10-point lead before Marcus Hill’s tough jumper in the paint with 1:51 left cut the Golden Flashes’ lead to 32-24. It was BGSU’s first points since 7:34 left when Jason Spurgin converted a hook shot in the paint.
