Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University track and field team posted 11 top-three finishes and Elizabeth Iversen earned a Mid-American Conference automatic qualifying mark in the shot put as the Falcons competed at the Doug Raymond Invitational Saturday, hosted by Kent State.
Youngstown State, Ohio, Kent State and Duquesne competed at the meet, which was scored in dual meet format. Despite not entering any student-athletes in distances longer than 400 meters, the Falcons defeated Ohio 73-64. Kent State beat BGSU 93-51, Duquesne edged the Falcons 76-63 and Youngstown State picked up a 75-61 victory.
