Game 2 Box Score (PDF) RICHMOND, Va. – The Bowling Green State University baseball team opened its series at the University of Richmond on Sunday (Feb. 24). The Falcons were swept in a doubleheader, dropping games by scores of 4-3 and 16-2, respectively.
Bowling Green falls to 1-4 on the season following the twin bill, while Richmond improves to 5-0 in 2019. Both games were played at Richmond's Pitt Field in Richmond, Virginia.
The opening game of the series could have gone either way. After Richmond plated four runs in the first inning, Bowling Green battled back.
