Final Results (.pdf) Toledo, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University track and field team scored 52 points and placed sixth at the Mid-American Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, the team's best result in 17 years. The Falcons improved three places from a year ago and had not placed as highly since an identical sixth place result in 1999.
"We did it by committee this weekend," BGSU Head Coach Lou Snelling said. "It was the culmination of the past five years. There are a few of our older girls who were here at the very beginning when we scored just one point.
