Falcons Fall Twice on Friday

The Bowling Green State University softball team dropped a pair of games on Friday (Feb. 24) at the Mardi Gras Invitational. BGSU fell to the University of Maryland, 3-0, before dropping a 5-3 decision to Bradley University at Lamson Park.

In the Falcons' first game of the day, Maryland's Madison Martin quieted the BG bats, throwing a complete-game one-hitter and retiring the final 14 batters she faced. Martin threw 57 strikes among her 91 total pitches, walking two Falcons and striking out two.
