Bowling Green, Ohio – Bowling Green State University football coach Mike Jinks has announced the addition of two early enrollees to the program. Jarret Doege (Lubbock, Texas / Cooper High School) and Matthew Wilcox Jr. (Huber Heights, Ohio / Wayne High School)
Doege, a 6-foot-2 quarterback, threw for 3,363 yards and 33 touchdowns in 2016 for Cooper High School. The younger brother of wide receivers coach Seth Doege, who was a star quarterback at Texas Tech, he led one of the top programs in Texas to the state quarterfinals. He was named first team all-district.
