BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University women's golf team began play at the Mid-American Conference Championship on Friday (April 22) in Holland, Ohio. This year's MAC Championship is being played at Stone Oak Country Club where Kayla Davis logged the best round for BGSU during the first 18 holes with 13 pars, tied for second in the field of 50.
Davis ended the day strong with back-to-back birdies on 17 and 18, ending the day one under par. Her score of 71 puts her in third place after the first of three days in Holland.
