Non-league footballer who mocked Premier League star Harry Arter over his stillborn daughter is banned from game for seven months

The non-league footballer who mocked Premier League star Harry Arter over his stillborn baby daughter has been banned from the sport for seven months.

Ex-Hitchin Town player Alfie Barker has been suspended from all football activity until August 1 after admitting a charge of misconduct at an FA hearing.

The ban, which also includes a £250 fine, comes after he sent the vile tweets to Arter in early January following Bournemouth's 3-3 draw with Arsenal.
