England manager contender Eddie Howe: ‘Three Lions role is the ULTIMATE job…but I’m committed to Bournemouth’

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has admitted managing England is "the ultimate job", but insisted he is currently fully committed to his role with the Cherries.

Howe was a contenders to replace Roy Hodgson when he stepped down as the Three Lions head coach following Euro 2016, and he is now being linked with the post again following Sam Allardyce's shock departure.

The 38-year-old has previously said he would relish the chance to coach England one day but insisted on Thursday morning that he has not heard from the Football Association, while reaffirming his commitment to Bournemouth.
