Chris Wilder hits back at Jamie Carragher over 'lazy' criticism as Sheffield United bounce-back from Arsenal drubbing to draw against Bournemouth

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder said he was proud of his team’s response as they bounced back from a chastening home drubbing by Arsenal with a creditable draw at Bournemouth.

Despite letting a two-goal lead slip, Wilder revealed his players responded to him telling them a few home truths.

He said: ‘We’ve got a quarter of the season left and I don’t want our season to be defined by an Arsenal performance or 40 minutes against Aston Villa.

‘I want it to be defined by people talking about what happened at Luton and on days like today.
