Andrew Surman's huge 86 game run comes to an end as the Bournemouth man misses Tottenham tie with illness

Andrew Surman's forced withdrawal from the Bournemouth squad ahead of their clash with Tottenham Hotspur brought to an end quite the remarkable record.

Midfielder Surman had not only played in each of the Cherries' previous 86 games prior to the Spurs showdown, but had also played every single minute.

Amassing an incredible 7,740 minutes, before the addition of any added time, Surman saw his run brought to an end by illness as he was preparing to face visiting Tottenham at the Vitality Stadium.
