Tuesday night was not the prettiest win of the year, and it certainly wasn’t the flashiest, but it was the kind of the game the Red Sox let slip away too many times this season. This time, they weathered the storm, did some damage of their own, and beat the Rangers 11-6 at Fenway Park.
It was the team’s second win in a row, with Chris Sale starting Wednesday night in search of only the second three-game winning streak of the year.
