No popular vote.

No Electoral College.

Just a group of elite journalists who, presumably, know more about the White House and politics than the rest of us.

Given that electorate, Hillary Clinton would have carried 257 percent of the vote.

Now, let’s look at how newly eligible players are selected for the Baseball Hall of Fame.

One must be a member of the Baseball Writers Association of America and have covered a team for at least 10 years to cast a Hall vote.
