Games like this are the worst to look forward to. It's not a no-win situation for the Red Sox. We've seen them put up ridiculous blowout performances before this season that look good no matter what the matchup was on the mound. But aside from those ridiculous games, we've got the "yeah, they won like they were supposed to" win, the "that was way too close for comfort" win, and the "you've got to be kidding me" loss.
Two of those are...fine, I guess. One of those is awful. None of them are great. The risk - reward thing just isn't quite there.
