Dave Dombrowski did not sound like a baseball executive intent on firing John Farrell Tuesday night.
Instead, he sounded like a baseball executive who's as frustrated with the Red Sox as the average fan is but is also willing to give the team more time to get better.
"I think that John as well as everybody else is frustrated by our performance and that we haven’t taken off, but we’re not buried either," said Dombrowski on NESN before Tuesday night's Red Sox-Rangers game. "I mean we’re four games out of first place and we really haven’t been in a flow.
