Poor Curt Schilling. No longer able to have an intelligent discussion in the real world, the former Red Sox pitcher created an alternate reality in his ongoing spat with the baseball writers who vote for the Hall of Fame.
As if any of you need the reminder, Schilling brought himself some much-needed attention when, in early November, he posted a photo on Twitter suggesting it would be fine and dandy to lynch journalists. He added his own personal endorsement with these words: “OK, so much awesome here.”
This should have enraged journalists everywhere, whether they cover baseball, the White House or the Eastern States Exposition Cake Decorating competition.
