After his ignominious exit from Boston, Pablo Sandoval is officially back in the place where he once established himself as the player deemed worthy of an ill-fated $95 million contract. And upon his return to the San Francisco Giants, Sandoval acknowledged that his decision to leave for the Red Sox in November, 2014 was a mistake he wishes he could do over.
The 30-year-old third baseman signed a minor league contract with the Giants on Saturday – his second stint with the team after seven seasons and three World Series wins from 2008-2014. The move comes after he was released by the Red Sox last week.
