CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that three Boston College Eagles were among the 52 ACC student-athletes selected as 2019 Weaver-James-Corrigan Postgraduate Scholarship Award recipients. Zach Allen from football, Asiya Dair of women's tennis and Isabelle Kennedy from women's cross country and track and field were the three BC student-athletes honored as 2019 ACC Postgraduate Scholars.
An All-ACC second-team selection, Allen led BC in tackles-for-loss (15.0) and ranked among the top 10 in school history in sacks and TFLs. The Finance major was rated by Pro Football Focus as the top edge rusher in the ACC and was a semifinalist for the Lott IMPACT Trophy.
