CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.– The Boston College Softball team defeated Syracuse in both matches of the double header in its ACC home opener to improve to 20-8 on the season, and 3-2 in ACC play. To improve the Eagles home record to 7-0.
In the first match-up of the double header Abby Dunning led the Eagles, striking out 3 of the first 4 batters faced, striking out 11 batters on the day. Allowing just two walks, three hits, and one run.
The sole scoring of the game was in the bottom of the second.
