Senior Kelly Hughes made seven three's and finished with 24 points and five assists, while rookie Taylor Ortlepp hit five three's, had a career high 19 points. The Eagles halted a 10-game losing streak with the win at North Carolina.
Louisville (21-6, 13-2 ACC) defeated Virginia Tech on Thursday, 88-70, on the road. The Cardinal had three players with double-doubles - Myisha Hynes-Allen (13p-13r), Mariya Moore (17p, 11a) and Sam Fuehring (11p, 11r).
