BRIGHTON, Mass. — Boston College Baseball (11-10, 2-6), dropped both games of their Friday doubleheader to No. 19 Virginia Tech (17-4, 7-1), dropping game one 9-6, and game two 4-3.
In game one, the Hokies took a 2-0 lead in the second inning on a walk and series of singles, and would extend it to 4-1 in the fifth.
Two frames after Adam Magpoc (Torrance, Ca.) singled and scored on an RBI double from Cameron Leary (Bethpage, N.Y.), the Eagles rallied to take the lead in the fifth.
