Eagles Get Back in the Water Against Coast Guard

CHESTNUT Hill, Mass. – The Boston College rowing team returned to competition for the first time in 530 days on Saturday when it took to the Thames River in Connecticut to face Coast Guard. The teams raced 1K pieces in three boat flights consisting of the Eagles' 1V8 and 2V8 with Coast Guard Academy's 1V8, and BC's 3V8 and N8 with CGA's 2V8.

"It was great to get on the course, put a uniform on and line up against some outside condition," said head coach Grace Hollowell. "We have some work to do, but this gives us a solid starting point.
