MADEIRA BEACH, Fla. – The Boston College softball team finished day two of the Madeira Beach Tournament with a 9-4 loss to Georgia Southern Saturday afternoon. Earlier in the day, senior Lexi DiEmmanuele finished with three hits and stole two bases to tie the Boston College career stolen base record in the Eagles' 8-4 win over Central Michigan in the Madeira Beach Tournament.
Georgia Southern moved to 12-6 overall with the victory while BC dropped to 4-10.
Ashleigh Morton tossed 4.0 innings with two strikeouts to move to 5-2 on the season for Georgia Southern.
